After doing my last scooter to flip which I sold at cost ( more in the build thread) and now only doing my own from now on so I thought the saga begins Short form 1 headlight bit dim say's mate who bought it, no worries say will call over after work 2 another call, it won't stop turning over with key turned off 3 get there poke with sharp stick swear curse offer him his money back or another scooter of mine the Aprilia Habana but wants to keep 4 thump solenoid problem cured light still dim after changing bulb. More proding with sharp stick. 5 volt meter giving low reading of 3 Volt's on lights not sure if AC voltage as Google only useful for advertising now, battery charge voltage only 13 volts. So I want to try stator when have time
6 bring over Thursday say I but he wants to ride it over now as knows my wife not good so that there's no rush for me to do it. 7 off we go his wife following to take him back. After 10mile he not there I turn round find him. No worries he says run out of petrol wife gone to get a can and some petrol after a fair while happy wife comes back we put petrol in. 8 cranky, cranky bloody cranky no start try one last time and bloody starter sticks on again as we run round like headless chickens trying to find screw driver by the time we do battery dead. 9 go home on my scooter get trailer and now home. Lucky I have spare solenoid and 2 stators which I shall be asking you wise people about on another post at some point Oh what joy Peugeot are been up since 04.30 it was 22.00 when I got back glad I don't take Yolanda to the Dr's till late morning and work is only in the afternoon for 3hours

It is your own fault. Th scoots in your stable as well as those recently departed are aware of your threat to abandon them and their brothers. They are not happy and you see the result. Make amends before it is too late.

It,s well known fact that peugeots suffer badly from seperation anxiety the kisbee I gave away keeps sending it,s owner back to haunt me with teething problems,next time it,s the bone yard for any castoffs.

It,s well known fact that peugeots suffer badly from seperation anxiety the kisbee I gave away keeps sending it,s owner back to haunt me with teething problems,next time it,s the bone yard for any castoffs. Geoff I turned it down the first time it was offered to me should have followed my gut reaction the second time! |

Today charged battery luckily that was good. Stator on ohm meter says ok but changing it to be 100% sure. Can always be used on my others if is at some point. Solenoid changed. Just awaiting delivery of stator tomorrow and all will be bliss we hope.  |
