Leak from thin black tube

      Noticed small drip from this thin black tube under my Lance
Havana classic 49cc scooter. I bought it new a week ago. I filled up gas tank but not excessive. Got it to 1/2 tank  but I filled it with bike on center stand on a slight incline. There were a couple of drops on the ground in my garage. It felt like oil but was clear. Though it smelled like gasoline.  I checked oil with bike level and oil level was fine. Can anyone tell me what this tube is and was this gas coming from tube? Thanks!

Does that tube come off the bottom of the carb .
If so it is to drain the bowl of the carb .
There is a screw that you need to close .

Thanks for the info. Not sure where it comes from. Going to call the store I bought it from. Luckily they are in the same town so hoping someone will come down to take a look. I thought it may have been an overflow drain from gas tank but really have no idea.
