Order for OEM crank, bearings, and seals placed with racingplanet. I bet it'll take a month + for it to get here. Lots of time to continue hoarding parts for the engine build, maybe a corsa?! Should have got a TK pipe from RP while you were at it. It has been a great all around pipe for me, and cheap! Better than the V8, much better than the gas guzzling PG short IMO. However if you want my PG short let me know, as I have no use for it. Autotech on feebay has a 50mm motorite cylinder kit I have been interested in. I used the 48mm version of it for several years and it was nearly as good as the Corsa I have now. I bet a little work on the exhaust port would wake it up a bit.

I've heard about this cone flip before but, how is it done exactly? The video of the flipped cone PG Long and the pictures from that website shows 2 different looking things. The ones from that forum shows one with a cone on the end of the pipe welded on about halfway with the outside part cut off sitting to the side. The video shows what looks like a regular one you can't tell they welded on. Like how is the flip cone exactly done? I've got a PG Long that I bought with a corsa before thats rattling too.
cannot tell you, it's the Hawaiian Secret. (sarc)
it's part of the Black Arts here in the Moped realm of hawaii. no one explicitly talks about it. however, if you do some investigative research, there are clues scattered around, you just have to piece it together.
from what i gather/deduce, the cone as is from the PG factory, is backwards inside that endcap silencer canister and perforated metal cylinder.
the way i see it, that would be the only way the term "flip-cone" would make any sense. the end product of what Trafficjamz posted, the picture in which the PG long looks like an actual chamber pipe, that is the "flip-cone" modification. what you see in the video, is the endcap canister welded back onto the exhaust to make it look like a regular PG long. it's one of those undercover modifications so that it looks like you have a regular PG long, but it is actually modified and puts out more power than a standard PG long. that's how you win money in races . tell the guy that you got a Corsa and PG long, he has a Corsa and a PG long too. both of you think your own bike is faster, and put money down on a race. guy with stock PG long gets suckered in and ends up losing on the top end because the flip-cone makes more power. guy that has standard PG long loses and has no clue about the flip-cone. that thing that i call the endcap functions as the silencer. the flip-cone ends up being the same style/design as the JAD streetrace pipe that i cut open.

i just took a look at that TK pipe. looks similar to the PG but it probably is a full chamber pipe with canister silencer. full on undercover street race pipe with heat shield to give it that stock look. never seen that pipe before, and for that price, i would get that over the PG long. i can see how the TK would be better than the half-wave v8.

PM incoming soon on the PG Short.

i have my SYM dd50 engine build set with a Taida 50mm bore kit with the exhaust ported to Corsa timings. i know there was a 51mm Ruima cast iron bore kit for stock stroke years ago. there might have even been a 52mm cast iron bore kit from Taiwan back in the day for stock stroke.
if you are handy with the Dremel tool, then get that Autotech kit and port it. you just gotta figure out what kind of exhaust you want to run. you can do like guys here on Oahu and have 2 pipes. one for chillin' and one for rippin'. hence, guys running Corsas with Scooter Alley Scorpion pipes and then down tuning by running a half-wave V8 pipe. same as my coworker with his Arnada that has a Corsa with a V8 on it right now. the V8 is to keep it low key. if he wants to do some high speed rips, he puts the Wind Jammer chamber exhaust on the Corsa. in your case, if you pick up that PG short, you can do a PG short for mild, and a Yasuni C16 for wild, with 50mm bore ported to Corsa timings.
