Wife and I gave ourselves Sunny scooters for Christmas, her's red, mine black. Don't really even have them unpacked yet since we're in Anchorage, Alaska, and it really isn't good scooter weather right now They'll be handy for running around in the neighborhood and such but we really bought them to take with us camping so we can leave the vehicle parked and get around.
Just wanted to say hello and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I'll be lurking and learning, and I've already got my eyes on a big bore kit.

Try not to park where someone can pull a truck or van right beside it. Protect your head and watch out for the wildlife up there. :scoot2:

Pony66 - Yeah, a collision between one of these little scooters and a thousand pound moose wouldn't be pretty. Fortunately, they aren't around town or on the roads much in the warm times. In winter they're dangerous pests in town. We have a cow with two yearlings that calls our neighborhood home this winter and they are always in somebody's yard. I got a "collectors item" pink non-deleivery slip from the postman the other day that said they couldn't deliver a packabe because of "moose in yard." And don't worry, we'll protect our heads; I've had a couple of cars badly damaged by somebody changing lanes right on top of me and once by a fool opening the door in front of me. There are some truly awful drivers here and that's aggravated by the fact that you're driving on ice and snow and in the dark half the year. I haven't really considered putting studded tires on the scooters yet, though.
