I think it's fair to say aerox's are a pain in the ass to get started once you get into the 70cc onwards. once it starts, it's fine. but when you let it cool down and sit, it takes what feels like forever to kick over?
is it due to bad carb set up, weather? or is it just 2stroke/tuning shit?

well, it's a manual choke. I pull the pin on the carb, below is the carb I use 21mm. its a new carb as well. not sure what could be the issue. I can't see it being anything to do with the carb set up right? as the bike rides fine when it's started, other than that annoying leak from the exhaust/gasket on the manifold end. I originally thought the black gunk was coming from the actual seem of the cylinder block (which I was worried about) but then realised that stuff would not come out of there, it's deffo coming from the exhaust/cylinder side. also, I have put a manual fuel tap on now as well, when you leave the bike sitting, are you meant to close the tap or it don't matter?

Check your plug for colour,I,d guess its black and oily and your running rich, that's a big carb so will need turning down, are you using the OE filter or pod??

Yeah, looks like the cases are loading up with fuel by not shutting off the fuel tap. Try a flooded start next time,,hold the throttle wide open during start,it should catch and clear itself quickly..It is best to turn the fuel off each stop as damage can occur if it happens often...
