Hello I have Yamaha Slider 2002
I have tried to set upp my variator and i have tested weight from 3 gram+6=18 gram To 5.5 gram+6=33gram and all in between to find something that works. But i still have about 10 mm left on the front variator and i tested shims different slot angles rear pulley 38 and 41 but no different
I wonder if any one have same problem and wonder if i have the wrong belt In the manual it says long minarelli S6-591667 belt And short minarelli S6-591668. But i bought all as a kit and hoped it should worked out but i cant get the belt all way up So i wonder if i got wrong belt or any other idea ? Sorry for the long text Best regards Steve

on your first picture did you mark variator all the way to center to see if you get all the way to the bottom your back pulley looks to also have 8mm left can you post a picture like this this is a fulley maxed rear pulley

for shiming to get full belt travel on the bottom for best take off i only need one shim or no shims in this pictire i have to many shims you want the edge of the belt to just get to the edge of the drive boss . lucass2t and aeroxbud might have a little more knowledge on the stage 6 stuff

I locked the front pulley and took away the tork spring and it looks like the belt is perfect size But i cant get it to go all way with light weight and heavy weights Or is the power to low to make it go all way But it feels like going really strong In 11700-12500 rpm range

That's defy the right belt for the long case. I had this setup on my old aerox with a similar race cylinder. I seem to remember I never got it to the very edge, but it was close. What final drive ratio are you running?
