Take the spark plug out and the cvt cover off. Then spin the crankshaft about 10 times and make sure there is good tension on the belt. Then take pictures of the travel you have left on the variator and on the back pulley. Thats gonna be our starting point. You can't use a minarelli short belt on a minarelli long case. Strange but true, the belts for minarelli long cases are shorter then those of the minarelli short cases. I know since I built a minarelli short case motor and dove into belts and lenghts quite a bit. I run a S6 short case overrange belt on my semi overrange (122mm) setup. These belts are designed for overrange pulleys (128mm) but they work perfect on my 122mm setup. This is the travel I get on the S6 overrange belt with a 122mm pulley. Maybe the S6 belts are a tad short by design? Have you looked into exact belt lengths yet? Maybe look at a Gilera DNA belt, those come with even longer cases then the regular minarelli and piaggio cases. Good luck
