Hey, so I recently installed a bunch of performance parts on my 2013 piaggio typhoon, a Stage 6 MK-II sport pro kit including, and from the previous Malossi iron 70cc kit, it makes its power at a much higher rpm. Currently, the vairator is completely stock (top speed ~85km/h) but I am soon to add lighter rollers (5.5g) or a heavier contra spring (+160%) to keep the engine in its power band range. What can I do to increase the top speed? Is my only option a gear up kit?

You could definitely use a gear up kit. What exhaust are you using?

Gianelli 31607E, it's designed for a different moped, but can't find the model anywhere

You could get a bit more out of the kit with a better pipe. That's more suitable for a sports kit. The exhaust prices have gone crazy since covid hit though.

Ah ok. Would upgrading to a PHBG 21 carb do much for me as well?

You you would see a bit more performance on the top end. Provided everything else matched. Are you still running the standard restricted CDI?

Cheers, It has the stock CDI The Piaggio CDI is restricted to 10,000 rpm. If you want to go faster you will have to change it.
