Had my 1997 prebug Zuma die on me. Had been riding for about 10 minutes straight, cruising around 50-55 WOT and heard a pop followed by loss of power. Coasted to a stop, no start, check spark plug and boot was off, put on but still no start. Temp didn’t get over 320. Disassembled, didn’t find anything glaring wrong, replaced O-Ring head gasket, checked woodruff key, spark, some carbon buildup on piston. Latest upgrade was Yasuni R, ran great before and after. BBK, crank, 17.5 carb, tuned cvt, Yasuni R. Any idea? I guess I should have taken the whole top end off, compression maybe seems low?
