I wired in a Vapor on my Piaggio Typhoon and when hitting higher RPM it goes nuts. It cuts on and off and thr warning lights flash etc but if I cut off the ignition and turn it back on all is well. I created the whole woring Harness directly to a motorcycle fuse box so every component is fused individually. I have an MVT ignition runing power to the battery. I lowered my fuses from 20A to 10 or 5's and it looked like it helped but what could I have done wrong? I'm not great with electrical and need some help on this! My worry is the electric water pump goes crazy at the same time and doesn't pump proper with high rpm

My worry is the electric water pump goes crazy at the same time and doesn't pump proper with high rpm It is likely your charging system putting out too much voltage at higher RPMs. Recheck all wiring and especially the grounds. Try to monitor voltage level at all motor speeds. A new regulator rectifier may be in order.

The regulator is brand new so that would suck. I have all the grounds and power wires ran into the fuse box individually and I haven't noticed the lights acting weird just the Trail Tech.

If not already use a resistive spark plug and/or cap as they quiet electrical noise.

I do have a resistor plug but I think the cap is non resistor, or other way around. I know 1 is and 1 isn't but I was always told not to run both resistor because it weakens spark?
So I checked out the connections to the wires from the trail tech and they are all zip tied tightly to the headset so they could be getting pulled a bit when I turn the bars. I loosened it up so they could move freely and it seems to have helped but I've noticed the MVT ignition doesn't produce enough to maintain the battery so if the battery is low the problem is more apparent. I was also able to ride around at about half throttle and the thing worked fine but if I went harder it would go nutty again...

And to clarify its not like the RPMs are wacky or the temp is wacky, the whole thing turns off and on and starts flashing and the backlight shuts off. It's like a car with a bad alternator and all the guages start flashing erratically

Have you tried to hard reset the unit? I had a similar issue with a TrailTech Stryker, and had to reset it back to factory settings. It will erase all your settings though. NOTE* This hard reset is different than the hold in the buttons method.
