Hello. So, I have got a old Sym scooter, which looks identical to the 1988 Honda Dio. I've read more about that Honda and Sym wrote some sort of document to share engine parts, but under different brand names. I need to order parts for my Sym, but I don't know what engine it is. Atleast here in Europe, we call engines MH (Minarelli Horizontal), MV (Minarelli Vertical), Piaggio, and that stuff. Does anyone know what engine is the Sym?

I suggest you put up a picture or two of the engine. I took a quick look around the web and it looks like a common gy6 50cc, but don't go ordering parts just because I say that. you might get helpful feedback from someone else once they see pics.

What kinda Sym is it?
DD50 (it probably is)
Jet 50?
Anything else?
