so after the rain storm last week i have no power to my whole scooter it only work by kick start i changed the fuse but it still doesn’t work and i have water on my harness what should i do

Check voltage between the two large terminals on the battery. You should read in the high 12V range, around 12.6-12.8. If water got into the battery compartment, it could have caused the battery to discharge. If you had corrosion on the battery terminal connectors/terminals, water could have dissolved the corrosion, or caused it to form an insulator between the TERMINAL built into the battery, and the CONNECTOR that is supposed to be attached tightly to the terminal. Removing the fasteners and cleaning everything, and put back together and it may work. It is a lot more likely to work if you have good voltage between the terminals. And... If your have no reaction at all, as in the brake lights do not work when you operate the levers, and there are not cluster lights, you may have more problems hidden in the connectors under the instrument cluster. Make sure also to check the ground(black) big wire connection to the frame for loose/corrosion. tom
