Hey y’all, my name is Brett but everyone calls me Bo or BoLo but Bo is easiest lol. I have had a 2 stroke 80cc dirtbike way back in the day when I was like 12 or so. Then when I was older I bought a Suzuki Ts100 dual sport and I converted it to a supermoto, by changing the front forks and putting 17” inch supermoto wheels front and rear and custom disk brakes front and rear and an eBay supermoto front fender. But I never had to do any work on the bike it ran great the whole time I owned it so I never really learned about 2 strokes. So anyways now I work at a scooter dealership, I started about 6 months ago and already have gotten like 4 scooters and still own 3. The first one I got was a 150cc Lance Cabo, but I didn’t and still don’t have a motorcycle license, so when I got pulled over the police had to take it, witch I understood because it’s there job. So I paid to get ot out the impound and then I sold it to my friend for the price i paid to get it out the impound lol. So then a customer came in saying he wanted to get rid of a scooter that he had because he was moving to LA. He had a 2016 taotao atm50 and he gave it to me for free. Then I got a gen 4 icebear maddog 50cc. The 4 stroke scooters are cool and all but they are slow lol well at least for now. So I got a scooter out of my jobs storage wearhouse thing. It’s a brand new 2010 flyscooter hero 50 2t scooter with 47 miles on it. I took it back to my job got it running and bought it. I rode it home after work that day. Rode it to work the next morning. Then made it about half way home after work when all of a sudden it lost power, well lost acceleration, the motor didn’t die right away, it would bog down when I would twist the throttle. So I pulled over and took the seat off to see what was going on and after a min or 2 it finally died and I couldn’t get it to start. But it was wierd because it lost all power also like the battery died or something. And still to this day I changed the carb, the oil pump, and charged the battery, but the scooter still won’t start without a jump start, even the kick start won’t get the scooter to start. So I’m so confused and not sure if it’s an electrical problem or something with the engine or maybe the cvt. When I jump it and it starts the engine still don’t rev when I twist the throttle, it doesn’t bog anymore but it won’t do anything but idle. If you guys have any ideas on what I should try to do next I would appreciate it because I’m stuck.
