2005 piaggio typhoon (US)

I recently picked up a 2005 piaggio typhoon. these are pretty rare where i’m from so i don’t know if i want to build it but i would like a little more speed. i know there is a restriction in the carb and variator but i was wondering how many mm the main jet is. AND if i WANTED to put an expansion pipe on it what do i do with the hose on the stock pipe just plug it?

Though these bikes are rare in the US they have the Piaggio Hi-per2 engine which is the same as the one in the Vespa ET2 and Fly. I always replace my carbs with Dellorto 19mm PHBG. I have a big stock of spares and I find them relatively easy to tune. Treatland is a great source for all things Dellorto www.treatland.tv/default.asp
