So... I had a chain lock around the rear wheel of my scoot, Forgot it was there, started the engine, revved the engine and the chain spun around in the wheel well, the bike shut off and lost spark (was running perfect when I parked it).
I got it home and inspected anything that the chain couldve hit. took off the stator, flywheel, Pickup coil. and did see anything out of the ordinary
Ive been chasing my tail for a whole week and i cant find the issue, i was kicking it over today trying to check spark, I was touching the bracket for the ignition coil and felt a little shock but couldnt replicate it again. maybe something is grounded that shouldnt be?
Would be really helpful for someone to video chat and at least try to help me narrow it down, thanks.
My discord is mello3450 if someone can video chat.

Check all ignition components for good connections in case something was jolted while the chain beat on the scoot... and it's a good step for troubleshooting spark issues in general. That includes where the spark plug wire connects to the ignition coil. Make sure there's a good engine ground and that the coil is grounded.
Check the kill circuit at the CDI to make sure the CDI is not receiving a signal to tell it not to fire. In some cases applying a ground shuts the bike off and in some cases removing a ground disables the ignition. Not sure which yours is, but if you turn the kill switch or ignition switch on and off you should be able to tell if a ground is being applied or removed with a meter.
