So I have a 2007 Eton beamer iii, I want to know if I can swap a 3j00 49cm3 minearelli motor on it from a malaguti f10...? I can post pictures of the Eton and malaguti scooters. I have questions as well about stuff on etons. I'll type more if I get some replys

Hey so turns out the cylinder piston basically whole top end of the F10 malaguti is in excellent condition and will totally work on this Eton. BUT my rear tire just so happened to pop yesterday. Stock tires are 130/10 pretty fat not the usual.. I have a 3.50-10 tire on the rim off another parts scooter. Can I use it as a donut persay until I get the 130

Yes,
I ran my Beamer like that for a while during an engine swap, it did fine, just looked funny!

Malaguti F10 has a short case motor, exactly the same as on my Yamaha Axis. Aprilia Sonic also has a short case motor.
Not sure about max tire size, 3.50 might the max.

Not on the Beamer wheel,the whole assembly(wheel and tire) is what I;m saying.. so I'm saying etons are equiped with 130/90-10 factory rear wheel size. I have a 3.50-10 tire off a keeway scooter. It's on the rim and ready to be aired and potentially put on as a temporary fix will it work |

Yes, I ran my Beamer like that for a while during an engine swap, it did fine, just looked funny! I ended up plugging the tire with a repair kit and it holds. How do I post pictures I'm trying to find out information and learn about scooters specifically 2t tuneing etc I know the basics and stuff. More than a person who hasn't owned or drove scooters would. |
