I've got this can off seafoam and I haven't cleaned or inspected the cylinder on my 2000 Zuma since I bought it last year, so I figured I'd run a little bit of this stuff through. However, it's a spray can and the directions are a little hard to decipher. It says, after "run the engine": - Loosen and remove intake took from throttle body. (air filter and carburetor?) - With Hook Guide and Cleaning Tube placed in the throttle body, direct tube nozzle end 1/4" in front of throttle plate location where the throttle plate opens away from nozzle. See diagram: - Re-fit the intake boot over the Hook Guide and throttle body. Then it explains how to spray the seafoam in while the engine is running. How do I apply this process to a scooter?

I would say don't use it on your bike. You don't have any buildup on your valves because you don't have em. And spraying anything that dissolve oil in your 2 stroke is definitely a bad idea

I think the throttle plate they refer to is the throttle butterfly valve. Not something you have with a Dellorto!

Don't use seafoam on a two stroke. If you want to do some inspection on the cylinder removed the exhaust and look inside through the exhaust port. Or remove the head. If it starts nicely no need for inspection, the engine is healthy.
