Friend of mine found this in a barn where he was doing some contractor work. He took it home and it turns out that his wife is mean, just like mine. She told him, “No Way!” So he sold it to me. $175!!! 1967 Honda CL90, same year as me! The motor and transmission are both stuck. Today I hauled it to a motorcycle repairman friend of mine. He will store it for the winter but pull the power plant for me to take home and work on. Once I have the engine and tranny free, I’ll bring it back to him for re-install and he can do his magic on the electrical and fuel systems.
Last registered in 1974!
My plan is to clean it up the best it can be but I won’t be doing a restoration, the plan is to celebrate the 56 year-old patina, just like my wife does with me🤣
On older/collector vehicles like this, my state allows the usage of old plates like this one that are a retired design… they just issue a little sticker to put on the corner of the old plate to confirm current registration.
