I have a MK1 speedfight with an airsal 70 kit (not as good as the mhr previously)
I'm down on power so have decided to upgraded from my standard 50 airbox to the 100 airbox. What jet would you start with?
Currently run a 19mm carb with 75 jet.
Just need a good starting point really lol

I am not familiar with the airboxes, but I'd go up at least to a 90 for a starting point. No idea if that's too rich or too lean for what you have, but it should be pretty obvious if it's far off.
Also consider a compression test and checking for strong spark and good fuel flow if it is losing power.

Thank you. I have tried the 90 but wasn't enough so after a bit of playing have settled at a 95. So I will do a few miles on her and see how close she is, and may order more jets as I only have a 98 that's bigger lol.
Still had a couple of coughs and splutters so I have put a new plug in. Praying that sorts her out.

When you decrease the intake flow resistance you decrease the vacuum at the needle jet which leads to the main jet and so you should lower the needle and reduce the main jet size. I am assuming your air box change increases the box volume while keeping the same filter.
