I need some assistance in ordering the correct wiring harness and all associated components. I have already attempted this on my own a while back and that was a big mistake, considering I don't know much about electricity other than its invisible and it shocks! Here's what I need for this scooter:
1. Rectifier, compatible with an 11-pole stator 2. Stator, 11 pole, DC (this is what was originally on the bike if I remember correctly) 3. CDI, DC 4. Ignition Coil 5. Wiring harness, complete 6. Ignition switch with key 7. Relay
Basically the help I need is on ordering the correct components that are compatible. I still have the stock flywheel, so I should be good there, I think. I know I will need help later when it comes to wiring the headlights, but for now I'm just concerned with getting a spark and getting this thing cranked and running.
So, can someone please help me with these parts with part numbers or links to online catalogs where I can order the right parts? It would be GREATLY appreciated. Preferably from the same source.
Thanks in advance!
Toby

You will likel not be able to use a 'generic' wiring harness. Most generics would be set for AC powered CDI and the up-scale ones use DC power. Up scale would be those that had a brand name that included machined priced above the base units such as a Taotao. SYM, KYM, Honda, Yamaha, and other makes are included. That said, repair is usually easier than removing and installing a complete harness. IMO. Before deciding to replace all the listed parts, unless they have gotten burned up by shorts or other damage, getting a schematic that comes close to your machine can be very helpful. The schematic would show which things you can disconnect or ignore until you have controlled spark on demand. I just noted the name Vitacci... so pretty sure a generic might be a stretch. But it is GY6 based. Used search string: vitacci 150 scooter wiring harness Here: www.ebay.com/itm/304966880827I know nothing about the listing... tom

But, of course with this stuff, one can never say never.

Thanks in advance! Toby The problem you have is that most vendors don't have a clue what fits what. Best bet is to buy all parts OEM from a dealer of that brand, even if its spendy. Since most don't or can't use that option, it falls on you to select compatible parts I would be on the lookout for a complete package from one place that claims it will fit Still a good chance that parts aren't compatible. But if you pick the parts individually, it is totally on you to match each part.
