minarelli, clone, jog, 1PE40QMB, 1E40QMB... what the heck ??

hello.
i can get 2 scooter frame with engine. those are chinese 2 stroke.

i always tought those chinese 2 stroke were COMPLETE EXACT clone of minarelli, but it seems not

i seems to have a hard time getting a decently priced ( ok ok.. a cheap kit ) for my first 2broke engine rebuild.
i can get 2 for 70$.  just for an empty case it seems like a extremly good deal for a single one. but id get 2 !
ofcourse some missing parts, but whatever.

so whats the difference between a bws/zuma/vino minarelli engine and the clone stated also as minarelli, vino, jog, minarelli
they do not seem to be the same engine at all as far as crankshaft and cylinder goes.

since i cannot rely on parts description/listing at all, i need your 2broke engine guys light.

The Chinese clones use a 12mm gudgeon pin instead of the genuine Yamaha 10mm. They also use a 16mm shaft for the variator.

let say i have a cheap cylinder without piston for a minarelli, the cylinder fit the clone ?
clutch is the same too ?

There are other differences. There are long case and short case versions, long case uses 12" wheels, short case uses 10" wheels. The Yamaha Vino is a short case and uses a reed block that I believe is unique to the Vino. Vino cases also have factory trenching. Any minarelli crank should fit in any case set but there are differences like the 10mm pin small end and the 12mm pin small end. There are also large spline and small spline cranks on the variator side and large taper and small taper flywheel sides. I have seen many combinations on cranks for example 10mm pin small end, large spline on variator side and small taper for flywheel.

ok ok thanks. so i basically buy the shits i want and i need have to make sure the bearing, seals, variator, piston pin match together no matter the sase ( beside vino extremly rare here so i dont care ).
bearing and seals WILL fit the case even if i pick a bws crank with its bearing and seals.

ive read they're also minarelli clone but cant find anything else.

I have a 2005 Eton beamer. I put a 70cc bbk for 02-11 zuma on it. I want to put 15/42 gears in it and I'm unsure of what scooter to order parts for. I've heard a Vento or something are the gears I need. It has 10" tires have owned since new and can't find much information on gear changes.
