Are you soft seizing ? Losing power and coasting to a stop like you hit a kill switch
Something has probably caused an air leak Loose exhaust nut ,gasket at either head or base gasket
Check exhaust leak first with the scooter running at idle take a wet rag and plug exhaust pipe if she keeps running there is a leak Track it down with a spray bottle of soapy water like you do for a leaky tire
Next check the head and base gasket Pull the cooling shroud and look at the head gaskets and base gaskets look for oily residue on one corner of the head or base gasket .
If you start the scooter and let it run briefly with shroud off if there is a leak you will feel just make sure you have safety glasses on and no bare skin ( I burned my leg really well with a leaky head gasket )
Pull the head check the gasket look at the piston head wash if you have been running hot it may be all black with no wash make sure piston head is not caving in with the temps you have been running should not be a problem , check through the exhaust port to see that the rings are free and not smeared full of aluminum
Check behind the variator look at the oil seal look for oily residue by the crank shaft .
These are the easiest ones to check

I rode today for 50 miles without getting hot or running bad.I went for a ride down the street just now around 270 degrees and it felt like i had my brakes dragging on and off.I kept the throttle in one place and like yesterday it took off and slowed.I'm thinking cdi what do you guys think?

I rode it today and the on off with the power started half mile down the road so now i'm not sure where to start.I checked for air and no change in idle at all.Scooter runs great but all of a sudden it wil slow down and i have to twist the throttle to get back up to speed. No pulleys are binding in transmission.Any ideas guys?

i was thinking air leak initially but your temps are back in line
i would have guessed binding in transmission . Until you ruled that out .
CDI would be something to check do you have someone you cannot swap off of and plug it in ? Hate to buy a part you dont need.
If you have to buy a new one you could grab a malossi or a nraku cdi for probably less than stock

I don't have anyone to swap out with but mallosi isn't too much money.Scooter is only has 4500 miles total. It's a 2021 but i guess anything can happen even when it's garage kept.Is the cdi under the seat on a roughhouse?

yes the cdi is under the seat bucket the malossi is supposed to have a better ignition curve so go ahead grab that one if it fixes your problem and performs better . You will be giving me a reason to upgrade to the malossi cdi

Zino don't waste your money.I didn't notice a difference anywhere.I still have my problem though and i don't know where to start. When something runs great for a year and all of a sudden it feels like the brakes going on and off.Maybe i should pull the rear wheel and see if a piece of brake pad broke off inside.

good to know about the cdi
You have some weird gremlin going on
Maybe the brakes are binding in the back ?

I can't even get it to start when cold in the morning.I pluged in original cdi and started right away.I just cleaned my carb and checked brakes everything ok.I did put the scooter on center stand and gave it full throttle and it just bogs.I put a new belt on thinking that was the problem.I even tried red clutch springs but didn't help.I no it sounds like a lean issue and actually i'm getting a hanging throttle lately even though i turned the idle screw a 1/8 richer.THe weather is getting colder but not enough to make pig rich when it's been running good.It did sputter on center stand also.THe coils on these are they getting the spark from the cdi?

Adjusted the carb and great throttle all the way to max but i still have the pulsing feeling and it seems like it's getting worse. That's usually electrical what do you think?I don't know how to test stator or coil

Glad you found the problem . Now you can get back to ripping around .
Maybe now you can test that shiney malossi cdi to see if it makes a difference .
