Hello. I brought this Aixam City moped-car this year (middle of june 2023). I was so happy, because I got it cheap 4198€. That includes getting it written on my name too. Only thing the buyer said to me wast, that the car has no suspension. I got little bit scammed on that deal, because the car was advertised as 2015 Aixam GTO S8, what is almost fully loaded with stuff. I did not know about moped-cars a lot, so I brouht it, drove little bit. The windshield washer fluid was not going to the winshield, so I did fix that. Problem was the pump. Swapped it out and that was ok again. Then I did took the car to local Moped-car dealership, what has a repair shop too. They told me, that only parts from the S8 GTO were sideskirts, front bumper, sport seats and rear wing. The model is basic Aixam City. Then they did look it over and there was so many things wrong with this car - long list of things, including the suspension that I was known about.
This is the first video about the car, when I did take my GoPro 11 with me too:

An old classmate of mine had one of these when he was 16. Fyi, in Europe you are not allowed to drive a car before 18, but you can drive these 45kph micro cars. He removed the limiter and had quite a 'sporty' driving style. The thing only did 60kph or so but within no time the wishbones were bent and the suspension buggered up because it is built so flimsy. So watch out if you intent to take it over the legal 45kmh.

I did start a side job from my main job, as a food courier (08.sept.2023). Took the speed sometimes over 45km/h and forgot to check the condition of the drive belt. I wanted to get as many deliveries done as possible. I was doing a 24h courier job, after 15h night shift. I took a coffee break at a nice place, like I always do, because it is on the way to my garage. Well, finished my coffee and tough, that Im gonna do few jobs as courier and then head back to home and get sleep. Well, took on order from the same place, I had coffee break. I did not get far, when I did hear loud noises under the hood and then bam. I gave little bit of throttle and noticed, that car does not gain any speed. Then I knew, that the Belt blew up. So there I was side of the road, thinking, what to do. Contacted courier firm and told them, what happened. The worker said, I do not deal with sending couriers, when I asked that, can you send another courier to my location, so the client, can get his food. I ordered taxi, went home and took the tools, then to garage, to get new belt and one other tool. After that back to the location of the car. It took me maybe 20-30 min to change the belt. I got 24h ban from the courier firm, for not getting food dilivered. Some pics of that early morning:

Few days after that fiasco, I also made a roof rack, by modifying a car roof rack to fit on my car. And recently made a bracket for extra front lights:

Yesterday morning, I took the car to a repair shop. The car gonna get some work done ther: Engine frame swap. Gearbox side variator swap (old one was warn). Engine and gearbox bushings change (those were old). Maybe new front pumper too (I smashed the old bumper and fixed with zip ties). Oil change and oil plug swap. Variator belt swap. New brake disk rotors, maybe new pads too. New front coil-overs (old ones are done). Also I took the winter tires ouut of the bag, what were given me free, with the car, when I brought it. Those gonna also get swapped, because those do not look good at all and spikes are so warn.

I like micro cars. We have a dealer in Portsmouth near where I used to live sells them. 👍 I like my moper-car too. It is so small, that I do 3 point turn in front of my garage. One time, one of my neighbor looked me and was so confused. I wanted to tell him, that: "Try to do that in youre big 4x4 here!"

On last Thursday (26.oct.2023), I went to the repair shop, where I did took my car, so I can see how far is the car ready. The car was still on the lift and front end wast taken apart. But new engine frame and front suspension bars were on the car. I even saw the old suspension bars. Some wanna be welder, had done some work with the driver side bar. The job was so bad, that the bar was not straight. I will ask the old engine frame and suspension bars back and will make pictures and video about those. Also I will make video about all the new stuff, what was replaced on the car and what was fixed. The boss said to me, that car will be ready at the beginning of next week. So today (31.oct.2023), I went back, because it is the beginning of this week, to see, the promised finished car on early this week. The car was still on the lift and front end was not put together. I took my car to that repair shop on 4th of October 2023 (Wednesday), tomorrow will be 4 weeks from that day. And I still do not have my car. I think they work little bit on one cat, then the next car and so on. Maybe that is the reason, why my car is not ready. I have been without courier job for a month now.
Recently, I watched a Youtube video about one food courier in Finland, who did a "8000 euro/month Challange". He did work 12-14 hours per day, 50-60 deliveries/per day, and finished that challenge in 27 days. When there was 3 or 4 days to go, to the end of the month, he did another 1111€ or so extra. He rode on Electric Unicycle, total 5290,5km, to deliver the food. That video gave me some motivation, to do more courier work, when I get my car back. Also go on 50% on my main job, instead of full time, then I can do more courier work with Bolt Food and also work as Wolt Partner program as courier. That guy from Finland, was working as Wolt food Courier.
This is the video about that guy doing that madman challenge:

Just a word of caution, super courier is managing to complete every delivery somewhere between 8 and 12 minutes considering traffic customer delays etc, this seems unlikely IMO.

Geoff That "Super-Courier" can take any shortcut, with that electric unicycle, that he wants. That is the reason, why he is so fast. He can cut time in places, where motorcycles and cars can not go.

Yesterday I received the car from the workshop, it cost 1705.77€ in total. Now the car is in better condition than when bought. I asked if this car was worth the €4,190 I paid for it this summer. The workshop replied that it was not. However, my car was in better condition, and I was a little lucky. Some moped-cars have come to them in worse condition than mine. For example, one car brought to the workshop had a wound odometer that could not be passed by the DOV. The odometer had been set back for 60,000 km 😮. A lot of work was done on my moped-car: *10W30 Engine oil change *The oil filter was changed *Gearbox oil was changed *The engine base frame was replaced *Front shock absorber supports on the left and right were changed (one picture shows which one was on the driver's side) *The beam of the front panel (bumper mount) was replaced *The first brake discs were replaced *Brake pads in front *Front wheel bearing (left) *Handlebar ends Left and right *The variator on the gearbox side is new *Gearbox cushion *Gearbox fixing bolt *Gearbox main shaft simmering *Gearbox differential simmer links 2 pcs *Gearbox oil cap *Rear drum brake bearings 2 pcs *Repair of front fender plastics (left and right) *Rear exhaust mount was fixed too *Installation of 4 winter tires (14" alloy wheels)
