You could just try running a ground from one of the light housing bolts. If you are getting a live to the bulb.

OK, there are 2 wires, one is white and other black. Logic says, that black is ground and maybe the other (white is +). I need to try this out. the second option is, to take the ground from the other working bulb and add it to the non working one.

I never considered the possibilities of modding an Aixam. There an Aixam dealer pretty close by (2km’s maybe), but i never looked into these things. Probably cause i always get annoyed when i see one driving in front of me, and holding up traffic. But it does look pretty nifty, and has so much more potential for customisation compared to a scooter. Perfomance wise, i don’t know.

Well, It does go 45km/h, when restrictions are on. My Aixam has those things removed and goes up to 70km/h maybe more. Now Im driving 50km/h, because I did push it too far one time. The variator belt exploded, while I was driving as a food courier. I had to fix take a taxi home, took impact tools, then to garage and take new belt + car jack. After that went back to my Aixam with the taxi (27€ was that trip to get tools and stuff). Then I was by the side of a road, fixing my car 4am at night   Got it fixed, but I got 24h ban from the courier firm, because I could not deliver the food to client. All the food did say with me.

Last week I got the outer drive axel ends swapped and I did ask to check the brakes too, because they feel wierd. The mechanic told me, that the brake master cylinder is little bit old and needs to be swapped soon.



Then they told me, that they only have that part for 3 brake line option. My car has the cylinder with 4 brake lines.
Then went some time by and they contacted me and said, that the brake master cylinder for 4 brake lines came in, what is suitable for my Aixam.



So I drove there and brought it (45€ out of my pocket). I still have this part in my car, because I do not have time to swap it. And I do not have money, to take it to the mechanic. I think I will swap it myself, but it will be hard work, because I need to take the reservoir and brake line off. That job is easy, but the master cylinder unbolts from inside the car cabin. Under the bonnet (or hood), there is a cover over the bolts. And I do not know, is it removable or not.

Today, I swapped the brake master cylinder on my 2015 Aixam City. By bleeding, I got the brakes half decent, but the brake system need proper bleeding one more time. I will thake the car to workshop, because on concrete floor, it is bad to bleed the brakes, if you are alone too.

There is only one payment left for the loan, and then the car is all paid off. Next step is to pay off the 1400€ credit card loan, that I used to pay for the massive repairs an year ago back in 2023. Also, I lowly buy some parts to fix up the car.

The jobs left to do:

* shocks swap (all 4, about 380€ - spring 2025)
* all wheel bearings (spring 2025)
* fix the rear and front bumpers (spring 2025)
* drive belt (spring 2025)
* new sliders for both seats (2025)
* 8kw diesel heater install (2025)

Maybe some other stuff too, what does not com into mind right now.
