So I ordered a multivar for my Vino, and it came with a new contra spring. I'm planning to go ahead and install it here in the next week or so, once I get the tuning right for my exhaust. While I'm at it, are there any other worth while upgrades or mods I can do while I have it apart?

What color would that be? And would that be more of a universal part or is it going to be model specific? Like if I go into the scooter store, would they be able to pull something off the shelf for me?

I used Polini green springs for minarelli clutch from part number 245.012 Their would be other clutch springs that would work itβs just a size that will fit and then tension
These are the same springs that fit the Yamaha Zuma stock clutch A scooter shop should have a comparable set
you may not need them with your set up till you add the pipe and kit
The key to tell if you need clutch springs if you hit the throttle wide open and you roll slow for for 50 feet and then pick up speed you are starting outside the power band and need clutch springs that are stiffer so they engage at a higher rpm.
What you want is to start with power and feel the scooter jump off the line with power .

Well I wasn't planning on getting it this soon but I think it's the only one I'll be able to find so I ordered the proper final drive primary gears for it. All the way from Italy to Missouri πππ
Edit:meant to post this on the build thread π

Zino, I read up on your 50mph build and I was going to polish up my exhaust port. I know you said use emery cloth, and do it by hand. Would 2500 grit sandpaper work? If so is there anything else I need to keep in mind or anything I need to do to prep the surface or anything?

that sand paper would work I work my way down from files to 100,200 400 ,800 ,1500 grit for example on the cast iron cylinders you have an athena cylinder coming it since it is aluminum it will be easier to polish up with just 2500 grit

Awesome. Thanks again.
So I ordered those jets from the jets r us link you had posted but I didn't realize there were two different sizes there(thread pitch). I ordered the bigger of the two apparently. Am I going to run into any issues?

Those were the ones I got so I should be good. I just started scrolling lower looking for pilot jets and I noticed there were multiple sizes. I think I'm gonna need to richen that circuit up since it's getting colder out. She's having a hard time starting π
