I have found many things over the years while riding, I am sure I am not alone. I figure why not start a thread to show this stuff, and maybe help identify some mystery items. Also It might even be a new or secret location that you post, anything goes! For starters I have some type of hitch pin, a screw for metal roofing, and a mystery item. It sorta looks like a lug nut and stud but the nut is aluminum. I found all of these at stoplights on the same day.  |

Some people wouldn't even notice all the vibrations and noise till it fell off.

Indeed Milly, a fleet mechanic in the shop next to mine showed me a 2021 transport van with a rod thrown through the side of the block. Then he showed me a small 10mm hole in the oil pan that must have been caused by road debris. He asked how in the hell a driver did not see an oil warning light or hear the noise associated with a motor with no oil? Good question. |

Found this in the road right where we made a quick stop by the beach today. I am sure they will be fine, probably got at least 4 more LoL!  |

I rode with a friend last weekend. He does home stereo and theater installs and told me about the biggest house that he's seen around here. It wasn't far away so we rode out to see that. At the stop sign on that road he picked up a 6" long screw that I guess they use on the giant houses down there and tossed it out of the road. Here's the house, which Zillow estimates around $12,000,000.  homesoftherich.net/2014/04/newly-built-waterfront-brick-mega-mansion-in-oxford-md/Story attached... My friend works for multiple people on that private road. Every house is big and millions. Apparently when the guy bought the property, people didn't want the mega-house built there. The owner said if you want to take it to court, go for it. I'll just keep the case alive and bury you in paperwork until you're bankrupt and then I'll build it anyway. Must be nice. Coolest place I know of belonged to the owner of the largest local car dealerships. My great uncle owned the dealership long ago, but this guy and others transformed it to a network of businesses. It's so close to me that you can see my house in some aerial shots. The main thing that I like is that it has 52 garage bays.    |
