what is this wire used for ?

hi all.
thanks for all the previous support, help, answer.
this nightmare of a scooter ( the 2009 maverick viron that literally never work ) is done. all plastics gone. so im making a chopper out of it ( half chopper half rat bike ) on the VERY cheap. i got a 50$ CAD engine that was in good state for it.

my question lies on my new to me 2020 ScootTerre Bistro 50 ( rebadged taotao atm50 and all other copy & paste with different front lower plastic ).

the engine i got and my scootterre bistro both have this wire on the taillight and unplugged. couldnt find any left connector.
the yellow & green wire that goes up in this picture 


what are its purpose and why its not connected on most scooter of this model ?

Green is ground. Are either of those 2 wires connected to the wires in the main connector? Do either of the yellows have a stripe? If not, where do they go?

the wires goes to the tail light connector, notting to connect it the other side on the tail light. no connector left on the scooter.

thats why i asked. my guess is its for another model, but no idea what the use could be.
iirc its yellow with green stripe. my Bistro is reassembled so i cannot see, and my old tail light is missing just like all the stuff i dropped 0.0000005 second ago. damn adhd.

maybe i dropped it behind the tv, or its in my car glove box, who know where i dropped it.

It may be for a rear fender license plate lamp.

I have a broken socket for my TaoTao Thunder, but haven't bothered to fish it out, and we don't use plates in my state. The wiring does go up in that area of the tail light and tank.

but the plate is lighted from the tail light. transparent plastic under the red one for the plate. just like the vino and 99.9% of classic style scooter. no need for a plate light conenctor...

oh wait. maybe a generic harness fitted from factory.
