Hi.
I'm changing to winter tires, and at the same time I thought I'd change the gear oil.
It should be 80W90 GL4, but I bought 75W90 4GL. That's okay isn't it? A bit more fluid on cold starts.
Also, I was thinking of adding synthetic 2T snowmobile oil in the winter - the main difference from what I gather is lower viscosity, which is better for keeping the engine oiled at all times during a start in harsh weather.
