I bought this little scooter from someone on "nextdoor" for $100, I've put about that in parts for it, carburetor, fuel pump, handlebar controls, key ignition, indicator lights. Here's my problem, while idling if I stand it upright or tilt it to the right it dies. seems fine on the kickstand and even increases in rpm if I lean up on it, any ideas?

Sounds like the float level is not correct, did you set the idle mixture?

Nope, brand new carb it worked right outta the box. It didn't start until I changed the controls on the handlebar, maybe I didn't set the throttle cable right?

Although I'm not sure that would cause what I'm experiencing. Is it possible that some rust broke off from the tank and is only blocking fuel when it's in an upright position?

Ok I'll check the float level and fuel air mix.

It seems that someone put 2 stroke mix in my 4 stroke tank. I drained the fuel and it separated instantly, refueled ran the **** out of it and it seems fine now. Thanks for all your help.
