When replacing the secondary gears on a prebug zuma, in order to remove them, the primary gear needs to slide out to make way. I know on newer bugeye zumas, the primary slides right out but that doesn't seem to be the case on the prebug. Does anyone know: do I need to remove the wheel so the primary gear can be slid out? On some scooters you have to take the rear tire off and tap the driveshaft with the gear attached through from that side
I use a block of wood against the drive and a tap that with a rubber mallet so i dont mess up the shaft

I just went ahead and popped the rear wheel off and sure enough it slid right out. Case closed lol. |
