When replacing the secondary gears on a prebug zuma, in order to remove them, the primary gear needs to slide out to make way. I know on newer bugeye zumas, the primary slides right out but that doesn't seem to be the case on the prebug. Does anyone know: do I need to remove the wheel so the primary gear can be slid out? Pic for reference:

On some scooters you have to take the rear tire off and tap the driveshaft with the gear attached through from that side I use a block of wood against the drive and a tap that with a rubber mallet so i dont mess up the shaft

I just went ahead and popped the rear wheel off and sure enough it slid right out. Case closed lol.
