Firts I want to apologize for what mistakes I may have made creating this thread be it not adding it to another thread that is similar or forany rules I may have broken unknowingly. This is my 3rd attempt at joining a forum and the red tape and anger brought on by my ignorance of how to operate in an approved manner for posts has not been very encouraging. My name is Hospital Heights and I enjoy reading on projects that folks are working on and hope to contribute my knowledge as well. I have5 or 6 Super 9 water cooled sccots 3 Honda Metropolitans 2 Derbi's 1 is a GP1 and the other is a numbered red scooter with racing decals it is a pitbike replica but can not recall the model at the moment. I also have a Maligutti Yesterday a Yamaha Razz a Honda Elite Lx and a SEARS Allstate Compact. In the past I had a Ruckus an Italijet and a few of the old time pedal types Jawa, Garelli, and Trac so I have some Shadetree University credits. I am currently trying to save a 1971 Suzuki TS50 and I have had fits trying to get spark. I changed every part of the system still no spark. Ordered a good used stator plate with points and condenser and still nothing. replaced the stator on the used plate and got spark for 5 or 6 starts then adjusted the points and timing bc the spark turned yellow. then it went to only 1-2 sparks right before it stopped spinning from a kickstart attempt to nothing. I have decided to use a Kymco Super 9 cdi setup from a parts bike that did run but the middle 2 pins of the cdi have rubber plugs instead of wires and I bought that scoot new so I know it has not been modified. I am getting no spark from the cdi. How in the world was it working when it was on the S9 if the center pin wire that should run to the coil was never there. The wire labeled for kill switch runs to the coil and a green wire also runs to the coil which is labeled ground on diagram so where was the spark coming from when it was still on the Super 9? The battery would be the best guessbut that does not explain why a kill switch wire and a ground are only 2 going to the coil? I believe we may very well be living in a simulation or the matrix has broken bc in no dimension does this add up to spark. Is it Voodoo or witchcraft or demonic possesion or just a plainj miracle?
