Genuine Roughhouse 50 Sport
70cc MHR replica 19mm phgb malossi Yasuni Z Performance cdi Secondary gears 14/43 Stock clutch & springs Stock torque driver Yellow malossi contra Malossi variator 7g weights Bike revs high, like real high, then catches and jerks into acceleration after riding on and off for 3 hours. First time riding that much since build. Normally for my short rides, it would do the catch at a lower rev. But yesterday after riding for 2 hours ( couple miles then stop for 15-20 minutes) bike started revving high without hardly accelerating, then blipping the throttle would get it to catch and take off. Couple times felt the back actually jerk into accelerating. Like felt it in the transmission. Once accelerated, no problems or bogging, climbs hills like a champ, resumes acceleration if in the 10mph+ range. Just once I'm stopped and go to take off, the throttle is hella sensitive and bike revs high with almost zero accelerating until it gets going around 5-10 mph. Got worse towards the end of my 3 hour on/off again ride. Gonna start with changing weights, at 7g right now. Question is: lower or higher? Got lower sets on hand 4.5, 5, 5.5. Am I needing to go higher or lower? Yellow contra is 1500, anybody know what stock contra is rated?

it sounds like the clutch is sticking then popping out, id start by replacing the clutch springs and contra spring. I put 6g rollers on my roughhouse and enjoyed it over the stock, but i prefer acceleration over top speed

Found your thread, remember you can get 6g by mixing 3x 7g and 3x 5g
