Here in the U.K. you have to have at least third party insurance on your scoot to venture on to road, we have ANPR in a lot a places and the constabulary are eager to pounce if you don't,t comply. Last year fully comp cost me £79 this years quote £179, that's shocking the broker assures me it,s their best deal a very quick search got a new broker to quote £119 so it,s not so bad, the weekend will give better results, but if I had any trust in my first broker this has been flushed down the pan. Good luck with your search. Insurance is mainly a rip off that is a government mandated gift to the insurance brokers.

A lot of insurance has gone up this year. I used to use the same insurance brokers for years. Then when I moved to a city, my premiums doubled. I managed to get insurance with another company cheaper than I was paying living in the sticks. And have quite regularly changed my insurance company since. Occasionally they come through with a good deal though. Bennetts renewal was the cheapest with my blue/ silver rox. The insurance renewal for the other one i went with someone new. I was just reading that car insurance went up 22% in the last three months of the year. 😬

The insurance on cb500x was £20 cheaper than the PCX and only passing in June was shockingly cheap I thought! My car insurance has increased by £80 this year tho, for no apparent reason

My car insurance has increased by £80 this year tho, for no apparent reason Because everything became more expensive. Things rarely get cheaper on the long term.

Trying to save time and money I like to shop on the net with secure sites,I was little annoyed to receive a sales call from my chosen web firm,an Asian sounding call centre and two transfers with recorded sales blurb had me thinking scam alert, the actual sales guy sounded Scottish and needed various security details from me ! I pointed out that they had rang me so should already have this info to hand,he refused to go on with the call!!.So a dig around web site and I found the registration number with the financial conduct authority, yep they do exist and are legit,I am pretty sure the web quote is real and the call is an effort to upsell the quote.I,all stick with the quote.let's see Geoff

I hate shopping insurance on the net because of those sales calls and the barrage of email from brokers. They don't stop even though you make a deal with one. The brokers even call again the next six months or year... A 'disposable' phone number and email seems to be required.
