I am trying to fix up my Kymco zx50 super fever. I am having a hard time sourcing replacements. As far as I can tell, they are nearly identical in size to Agility bearings, but not exactly. My zx has loose balls, that seemed the exact same as gy6 caged bearings. But they feel even worse now. I didn’t change cups, so that could be the issue. I also wonder if the nuts have just loosened, I plan to pull apart soon. When tightening, I noticed the nuts didn’t lock that well.
Question for you guys, Does anyone have compatibility info, from your own experience? Did you jot down measurements for your model, so I can compare them to mine. Or good USA part dealers, everything seems over seas in Europe.
To be clear, I am gearing up to disassemble and measure everything out. But I ride it everyday, even though it’s winter. I intend to get to this before April.
PPSS: Kymco parts, if I really can order them, add up to $100 or so. Most places sell all steering pieces in a $20 kit, pretty big difference. But I don’t know if they fit.

When you say worse now, do you mean they stick, then grab as you turn them? Do they only want to stay in the central position if you turn them from lock to lock with the wheel off the ground?

Another Important question is: with the front wheel off the ground, can you move the handlebars front to back again (not turning) any?

It feels more like a knock at hard braking and some heavy bumps. Feels like the stem itself is loose, like it is moving in and out, but I don’t feel this stationary.
Either way, I was able to find the part on a German website, cross referenced the part number to find a seller on eBay out of Italy. So I gambled 23$ that it will show up and be what I need.
In the meantime. My buddy gave me a neglected 08’ Zuma I’ve been tinkering with. Needs a few things to drive but runs great!
