What carburetor brand do you suggest for a 70cc cylinder for a genuine roughhouse. I am asking for the brand/manufacturer not the size of the carburetor. Let me know what you have used and your experiences. I am use to motorcycles with either keihn or mikuni carburetors. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I have the 72cc kit on my roughhouse and i use a stock carb, 110 main i think a 42 idle (i forget) and I have an intake filter(which i DO NOT recommend) you should keep your stock intake box but modify it to have more flow. The stock carb is great, i used some aftermarket carbs on my roughhouse and never got them running as good as the stock one. also, I did buy some tiny washers to shim the needle and remove the tiny spring thats on top of the needle for a bit more flow. at the bottom of the page i linked below you will see needle shim washers. www.jetsrus.com/a_jet_kit_scooter/genuine_scooter_050_roughhouse.html

Dellorto all day. They make excellent carburetors for small bikes (50cc-125cc). OEM equipment on basically all minarelli and piaggio motors. They are OEM equipment on the ktm 50cc dirtbikes. Tons and tons of accessoires and aftermarket stuff available. Jets can be found everywhere. They also make excellent automotive carburetors. Mikuni and Keihin are in my opinion more geared toward four strokes and bigger bikes (125cc and up).

Thank you for the reply. I will definitely go with dellorto 👍 I am old school 2 stroke guy CR, KX 250r’s,Trx250r’s, banshees etc. I have had a Honda trx 450r and a Kawasaki kfx 450r 4 stroke. I prefer 2 stroke and don’t own any 4 stroke anymore. Yamaha carburetors have always been mikuni and Honda always keihn on all my 2 and 4 stroke motorcycles and ATV’s from the factory
