I used malosi cast on my vinos I have bought them from scooterpartsco and scootertuning.ca Oh wonderful! Did you up an old Vino 50 2-stroke? Wondering if I will run into any clearance issues. Or situations on a stock bike. Should I be looking for a "Horizontal" kit if my engine is such, or does that matter? Thanks, Jonny...

I am not finding what a "chat gauge" is? Even googled it. Thanks!

cht gauge trail tech makes a great one that fits on your spark plug it measures cylinder head temp so you don't cook your cylinder

Great! Thanks so much! I received my 70cc parts. I was wondering if anyone knows about a version of that CHT gauge that also does speed? My speedometer goes up to 40. And how do they work? Is it a pickup sensor on a wheel?
Thanks!

For an easy directory of all parts compatible with your vino, i recommend scootertuning.ca. don't have to buy from them but it auto filters so you can see what parts are actually compatible.
Only other gauge I'd recommend is RPM. Hookup is simply a wire that you wrap around the cable going to your spark plug a couple times.
As a side note, once you go bbk you may find yourself wanting a new exhaust, then a new carb, then a new intake, etc etc.
2 pieces of advice if you keep going: - the max size carb you really need for 70cc is 19mm. 21mm will just make it a pain to tune. 17.5 is still fine as well - the Stock CDI in the vino may limit you to 6k RPM. When i did the 70 bbk initially i could pop a flippin wheelie but the scoot hit a wall at 6k rpm and more throttle just made it super rich and not faster. If you want to unlock the full potential of the bbk you may need an aftermarket CDI.

I use a rpm for tuning they are dirt cheap on amazon I think I paid 20-25 bucks The stock cdis on my 2002 vinos are unlimited just like my Zuma
you can buy a speedometer that has a pick up that fits on the wheel that you calibrate .
I never saw the need for using one It makes me feel good when I bury the needle

Thanks for all the info fellas! Soaking it up! I also noticed that the reed valves that came with the Malossi kit are a different shape than mine. Mine are metal anyway, so as far as I knew the only real reason to use replacements was because the fiber ones deteriorate?
Thanks!

keep the stock reeds they work fine for the vino you would have to cut your own from carbon fiber

I'm wondering about a link for a front wheel bearing puller that will work on the vino?
Thanks!

I'm wondering about a link for a front wheel bearing puller that will work on the vino? Thanks! You don't really need a bearing puller for wheel bearings. They are very simple to do without specialist tools.
