Hello guys , So i read a lot on this fourm , big help for me and i have this question, because i dont know anybody who can help me with my scoot. So i have this question / problem. I put on my scoot a 70cc Top Performance kit ( 1E40QMB engine ), Tehnigas RR deresticted , 5g Rollers and everything its stock. Should i make more modification for my scooter ? When i start its a little slow ( full throttle ) but after 2 3 sec its starting really fast, like huge power and after the 50km 55km/h its feel like more power, and its stop around 80km/h but the engine feel like it wants to go a little bit higher. My mecanic has experience with changing parts but when it comes to tune for the best run, has low experience.
Anyone has some advice ? i dont want to blow the engine or something like that. I will buy a tachometer to se the RPM, but until then i request your help.
Thank you !

I have no experience with the RR pipe. Are you sure it's not the next R exhaust. As I couldn't find it. You will need stiffer clutch springs to help keep the revs up when launching. Especially if you have an expansion chamber type exhaust. You can buy a pack of three different strengths. This gives you a choice of revs to match the power band of the pipe. Did you increase the jetting when the kit and exhaust was installed? Otherwise you will be running dangerously lean.

It is the next R actually, my bad. I didnt do any modification of anything. I will look to buy the springs. i dont know what type of carb i have , so i dont know what is the main jet. Before i have a 70cc TP, stock exhaust , same carb, but it didnt run like now. Now has and it feel like it have more power, i think it consume more fuel. My mechanic says the old kit was 70cc, i thought it was a 50cc, because when i need to change it , i want to put a 50cc, but it informed me it was a 70cc. I just want to ride safe and do some unknow damage to my scoot. This is the reason i requested your knowledge. sorry for bad english....

Your English is fine.👍 The next R is not the highest performance exhaust. But works well for a low raving sport build. But usually you would expect to increase the main jet but about 5-10% for an exhaust. Then the same again for a cylinder. Perhaps make the needle richer by moving the clip down. There are so many variables it's hard to give an exact spec for your bike. I guess it's air cooled? I would get a CHT gauge to keep an eye on the temperature. Just in case it's lean.
