Hi, has anyone shopped in scooterattack before? I want to make sure if it’s safe because I’m planning on building a high end liquid cooled zuma and i saw that their prices are lower than the other websites so i want to save a few hundred dollars and order my parts their website. It seems like a real website but i just want to make sure.

I have grabbed some stuff from them it just took an extra week to get it to me compared to a week or less when I order from this side of the pond

Yes I have brought quite a bit of stuff from them over the years.
Probably the biggest stockest of performance parts in Europe.

I have emailed them a few times. I think they replied once. That said, no issues with the orders I've placed. Just have to watch shipping costs to the US, but that's how it is with any overseas purchases. I would hope they'd make more effort to communicate if there is an order problem, but I don't know.

I've ordered from them a few times. Just received my most recent order today. Shipping was pretty quick, even with having to clear customs it took less than a week. I caught everything on sale and with the shipping prices to get here to Colorado, it worked out to be only slightly higher than the same order from Scootertuning.ca minus the tires. If I wouldn't have ordered the tires, shipping probably would have been less than $100  |

Love scooter attack and maxiscoot for those hard to get bits. Their prices are so cheap for certain items that it makes sense for me to wait a bit and load the cart so to speak. If you can be smart about combining orders and paying shipping once versus a few times, it makes sense, especially if you find a few items that are cheap and then a few that are hard or impossible to find elsewhere.
Pay the extra price for UPS shipping. I live in MD and it only takes 3 business days to receive orders. I just made the mistake of trying DHL just to see and it’s already taken 6 business days with probably at least 3 more to go.

I ordered two packages from them, one arrived the other one still didn’t leave germany yet, UPS has been holding my packages for more than a week then said it was missing a document why did they hold it for so long? And they just shipped it back to the sender and i emailed about this and ask them to resend it, it has been 3 days still no response this really sucks because this was my expensive package. I am going to try calling them tomorrow, this all has been a huge headache and it’s stressing me out, so far my experience with them has been bad, this all could have been avoided if they got that document I guess. I really hope they will resend my package and it won’t be lost in the office or something.

Like Brent said, when you need support, they are historically terrible but I haven't had any egregious encounters with them. I'm sure if you keep at it with emailing them they will sort you out, just might take some time. If you paid via credit card, you can always dispute the charge. |
