As my uncle use to say " No such thing as a free dinner boy." Daughter Beth invited us up for dinner by the time we left she is having our car and I am insuring her as a learner driver in it till she has passed her test in summer and Yolanda said don't worry dear we can get another. After being press ganged into it you can see the reactions in the second pic. I question my sanity at times.

My niece has been waiting eight months for a driving test date. It's still crazy since the pandemic.

Thank you Paul.We seem to be lucky up here as test not too booked up in advance from what I have been told. Not sure if Beth taking it in Aberystwyth or Cardigan, most likely Aber as she doing her master's at the university there so would make sense.

milly we have a name for guys like you with your affliction but we won't mention it here. It IS a disease that causes a form of insanity affecting the brain, It is contagious and it has something to do with consuming wedding cake. Women get it too but the symptoms are completely different. There is no vaccine for it. The only way to avoid it is to not get bitten by the disease carriers.

Well this appears to work both ways, treated my Owen to dinner today.
He had my nice Lambretta off me when I reduced çc down to 125cc as he a learner but DVLA taking a while to send back V5 with cc change could be a few weeks. Anyhow I had his bike and now he has got that back and me the scooter so he has transport for new job . Plus my insurance company won't allow learners on my policy so don't have to pay a premium for Beth.

Well, well, all change. Son having scooter back tonight he got a bus that gets him to work till the log book arrives. Back to the motorcycle 🤪
