Hello scooter people I am absolutely stumped. My zuma was on its side for mabe 10 minutes now it won't start. I changed the float and jets in the carburetor. Pipe is new so I know it's not clogged up. When I suck the vacuum line I get fuel from the feed line. Fuel is drained and refilled. It will start and die right away. It will run while spraying starting fluid in the throttle. I'm driving myself crazy! Not getting fuel? Vacuum? Thanks for reading!

Sure sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Try draining the float bowl (it has a drain screw in the bottom) to make sure it has plenty of fuel in it. The needle seat could be clogged or the float is not lifting the needle. If you don't get about an eighth of a cup of fuel, try disconnecting the vacuum hose to the petcock at the carb, plug the nipple on the carb and apply vacuum to the hose. If it runs that way the vacuum nipple might be clogged somehow.
