My Znen in Europe and UK known as Lambretta Pato 151n or State side the Lance Milan 150. On the dash there is a red light with a telephone 📞 symbol on it I presume for a USB port which is not fitted to mine some days it flashes loads other times very rarely whatever the weather is and whatever speed I am doing.
Has not caused me any problems even on 300 mile trips but would like to get to the bottom of why. Not having a wiring diagram does anyone have one so it will be simpler to trace. My guess so far is the redundant USB port lead. Video below was at tickover tonight

It is the 'idiot driving' warning lamp. It uses the motion of the scoot using accelerometers and the central computer chip to calculate when to turn it on. Slow flashing tells the cops you should have a 'L' plate.
My van has one too, it is stuck ON. I just cover it with a piece of electrical tape.

Those were supposed to flash when a phone is ringing. I'd like to say "when your phone is ringing", but I think some of these things flash whenever there's a phone nearby ringing or just pretty much stay on... and others never work. I think Mac has the right idea with removing or covering it. I guess you could keep it and use it to get out of unwanted conversations by pointing at it and saying something like "it never ends" or "that must be the tyre shop now" before riding off.
