Hey all,
Long absence. Lots of work at the shop! A little fun project I am working on. Had it fire but needs dialing in.
Scarabeo 50 4T, given to me, by far one of the ugliest scooters around (even when complete). So i got rid of a lot of the plastics and decided to make it as silly as possible.
Engine is/will be:
Polini 80cc
Malossi Cam
Adapted Polini Evo 9 Roller Overrange, Doppler SX86 clutch
PVL with Malossi CDI, it has 2 4T maps hidden!
Home made pipe with Leovince silencer
Home made intake for forward facing carb. For now. 26mm pumper but might do a PE28, i got a genuine Keihin somewhere
Fork is stock Aprilia with an adapter made so i can run a leftover 8.1 Radial caliper on Polini floating disc and a Brembo/KTM master cylinder. Cut and welded the handlebars for some drop bar action. Position is really silly...
Speed holes are intended for an oil cooler down the line. or a LC engine swap but i really wanna make this Piaggio 4T 50 scream first.
