Hey All, I've been comparing lots of parts and I have come down to a either a Malossi Sport Package Here or the Athena Sport Package Here. They both have the Yasuni Type R and Malossi Variator... Only difference is the Aluminum Head Vs the Cast iron head, and probably the power as well. Looking for everyone's opinions ideas! Thanks. I will also make a quick poll with other options.

I’ll throw another in. Stage 6 street race. It’s still a dual ring iron kit but has a more aggressive port. It or a polini corsa will be a little stronger/faster than the other sport kits. I have ran several top performance kits (still have 1) but the street race is my new go to.

I have used both Cast iron dual ring is more reliable for more miles and with a little work can have similar power and peak rpms to the Athena . just chamfer the port so you don't snag a ring and polish the exhaust port to near mirror finish for better flow .
Athena single ring has more potential, you have base gaskets to dial in squish tighter and to change the port timings you can also copper spray for tighter squish, you wont get as many miles out of it before it loses power and you have to re-ring it
so it comes down to your goals and skills The Malossi is easier just take it out of the box and slap it on and run it for thousands of miles .
both are a big upgrade over stock ,I have run stock oil pumps with both , I would not run a stock carbs on an aluminum kit personally

No. Keep your rpm below 10k & reject your stock carb. A bigger carb wouldn’t hurt but isn’t necessary. I ended up running a 17.5 but it’ll run just fine on the stocker. That’s another reason why I like it. You can run it as an entry sport kit or almost a mid race with a better pipe & carb so it gives you room to grow.

Hmm I will look into it then, I do plan on getting a Yasuni R so id probably have to upgrade the carb if i upgraded the pipe... The website ive been looking is unfortunately sold of out the kits so ill wait until they come back or just grab a malosi.
