Mvt digital rev counter behavior strange

We are a group of guys who uses the mvr dd ignition, but Rev counter cuts to half at 8500rpm as if it double apart in the low range. Any idea how to fit a tachometer that will read correctly all the way. We have tried, black red pick up wire, orange on the coil, on the high lead it self all with same result.

Trail Tech Vapor with 2 pulse per revolution setting, connected to coil +, works fine for me.
