Hello. My name is Martins, 31 years old from Latvia. Decaded to share my scoot with you. This is a yamaha BWS 1991y, bought it last year in the middle of June. 1st day photo. It had malossi sport 70cc cylinder, malossi rhq crankshaft, stage6 pro replica exhaust, 19mm china carb, malossi e13 air filter and malossi multivar variator, stage6 mk2 clutch. Everything else in the engine was stock. First drive and I was very surprised that for 70cc it was so slow, it maxed out at 55km/h at wot, but acceleration was not so bad. After that, i put on front fork from yamaha aerox and wheels from sr50 2gen aprilia for better looks "my opinion" =] + converted drum to disc brakes. Wanted it a little bit faster so for a good deal I got mxs racing 70cc cylinder. After that it was different story, perfect power for daily driving and riding on rear wheel Max speed with draggy was 90km/h and 1/8 it could do in 11.25sec not bad. After that i drove all season and enyoyomg it. Then winter came and I decided to upgrade the engine more. So I found for a good deal minarelli horizontal engine cases + 2fast crank + 2fast 100cc cylinder for a good deal and could not miss that. After that bought r/t 100cc exhaust, r/t inner rotor ignition, PWK 34mm carb, malossi LA furia overrange set and put all that together. I dont have a lot of pics on that process because i was documenting all that progress in my youtube channel so it is wat it is. custom intake manifold 1st test, without overrange transmision. More vids, racing i3 Testing grip to race 650cc bike Race And some POV driving , still stock gearing, need upgrade to longer ones.

That's really nice. Good job. Those wheels look good on there. Something different to the usual Aerox wheel conversion. We're they a simple swap?

Nice build, the 100cc 2fast will be a different animal. Once you go into the ultra race, set up your around or over 30hp, if you looking for a good intake have a look at the lmr intake 35-40mm, im building something similar in a sr factory, here a photo of the lmr intake, the 35mm just has a insert.

I think LMR make those intakes just for piaggio engines vs 450cc Anyways need more carb tuning, running too rich @ wot

So one day was testing top speed with draggy, stock gearing 12.28 , manage to get 121km/h @ 13500 rpm Best 1/8 mile time i did was 9.06s @ 115.1 km/h and 0-100km/h 5.89 (this was with stock torque driver and malossi multivar) then swapped for MHR LA FURIA full transmision and was getting consistent times like 1/8m 9.2-9.3 and 0-100km/h 6.4-6.5s Then i wanted to try longer gears and ordered malossi 16/40 secondary gear set. Swapped gears (7.76 ratio now) and went to try improve my times. Now it wont throw me up in the air like before with stock gears, now i can give full throttle staight from dead start and hold it whitch isnt fun any more, but 60ft and over all times + speed is improving Now scoot is consistent 0-100km/h 5.7s and 1/8mile it runs 8.8s @ 119.2km/h

Some more footage. When came up my turn to race, i started scoot and went for a test hit and my clutch just burned down so i decaided to not take part of the race. But end of the drag i went to race guy who was taken 1st place to see if i could beat him and then clutch did not slip, but i used 70% throttle on launch.

Looks like if you managed to keep the front down you would have smoked that 450 bike!
