I noticed that my torque driver grinds a bolt on my transmission cover only when I drive. Any thoughts on what to look? The bearings on the torque driver are not loose neither those on the input shaft of the transmission. There is no other trace of grinding other than this bolt. Thanks in advance

Don't know that machine Couple possibles? 1. Has something been disassembled and reassembled incorrectly? 2. Is the pulley a stock original or a aftermarket?

It’s a 2002 Yamaha Bws/Zuma with the stock torque driver. I suspect the torque driver because everything on the transmission is solid.

How about if that gearbox input shaft is sliding laterally and bringing the pulley with it, causing the rub?

There is no play in and out and side to side on the input shaft. I changed the bearings on it and got less than 2 miles of driving….really strange
