Just bought a 1995 Honda elite with the 125cc engine. Seller said clutch is loose. Found clutch is fine and engaged with the bell, but the rear wheel is not spinning at all. Dont even spin at idle? Anyone have any good guess before I open up the transmission? Hopefully is a simple fix. Thanks in advance YouTube video attached youtu.be/ulZtA0TzHGk?si=HLyh9HHqJv9DATMS

The variator and rear pulley looks to be working fine. So if the Clutch is engaging with the Clutch bell. It must be something in the transmission. Does the rear wheel spin when running and wheel off the ground?

Wheel not spinning at all when off the ground not at idle. Gus I’ll open up the transmission and see what I’ll find 🤞

Before tearing into the trans, you might check that the rear brake isn't locked up or the wheel bearings aren't seized

Yes that's pretty bad. A costly mistake.

The only reason to get rid of the vin is to hide it's identity. Looks very suspicious.

It get stranger....Well just did some communication with Seller B, now he said it's not his bike/engine. Because I send him the engine photos and said it's a total different motor. Strange a few days ago he said yes, now he said no. IDK, maybe it's not his, I really don't know!!! now.

In my opinion, the operator is ultimately responsible for "pre-ride checks" Of course, if someone gets an oil change or tuneup, there is a presumption that the place put stuff together properly. Still, when I buy something, especially used, it will sit until I get time to go over the basics.

Yes I always change all the fluids and filters on a used bike too. They so often are neglected.
