Hello all first post. So I started with a stock 04 Bugeye. Rode it for about 25-30 miles did some wheelies and topped it out at like 40 or so. Got bored of the 49cc cylinder pretty quick so I’ve bought and installed a malossi 70cc sport cylinder, malossi flip exhaust, top performance variator kit, 5.6g rollers, malossi fly clutch and bell, ncy secondary sheave, s23 1500rpm yellow contra spring, yellow malossi clutch springs, deleted the oil injection running 32:1. Stock carb, stock air box with snorkel removed, stock pilot jet, 94 main jet. Highest temps I’ve seen are like 325 and like 10600rpm at 45+(no gps verified top speed). Clutch engages at about 5500-6000rpm. Just looking for some opinions on tuning and things I should upgrade to get the most out of what I have. Thanks

you can run 50 to 1 with good oils we have available nowadays. Anything under 40 to 1 is way too much oil swap in gears you can use 14/42 or 44/13 that would add 5-7 mph

You could also run the oil injection for simplicity & be just fine. No need to premix. I had a top performance variator & it didn’t run nearly as well as the Malossi multivar.

Yes 40:1 would be fine. Most of my sports kits I've run at 50:1. But 40:1 will be okay. It's more important to use a good quality brand of oil.
