I am slowly piecing together my crank case with the new bearings and crank. I now have the new bearings installed on both sides of the case. I was thinking of packing some moly grease into the bearings before pulling the crank into each side. Thoughts? Does anybody recommend using something else?

I'm assuming that it's a 2 stroke because of the category? I'm not a fan of thick grease in there, it may end up blocking the normal oil mist from getting to where it should go. I preferred to put 2 stroke oil into a squirt can and pumping extra oil into the bearings at assembly.
Also a bit extra 2 stroke oil in the premix or in addition to any oil injection for a couple tanks.

Yes just use some two stroke oil like said above. I also put some on the crank after installing. The hot and cold process can lead to condensation forming.

Much appreciated replies, I used a healthy amount of wd-40 and 2T oil. I found out once I was finished the OD of the stock crank cvt shaft is 3mm larger than the new one. I then realized I needed to find a new starter clutch, variator/fan/boss/nut, castle nut... TBC I'm going through Brent's Minarelli Disassembly walkthrough, and I found a bushing/spacer that looks like it could only go behind the starter main drive gear but not sure. This is the stock crank with the 2 mystery spacers I found after realizing my mistake.

The spacer nearest the bearing should be the one to go all the way up against the shoulder, behind everything else. The next in line looks like it could be used for adjustment. Could be used to change spacing as needed.

I'll have to find a 13mm replacement to keep everything consistent. Although I'm not sure what this part is called This looks like it could be a good swap. I will keep looking and post an update when some more parts roll in. "variator spacer" and "starter clutch spacer" are what I've been finding results for.

E-ton had the small cranks so Get2it parts should have diagrams. Yamaha jogs and Zuma also have small cranks so those parts sites and dealers.
