For those that have aftermarket carbs with remote choke levers, where are you morning them? Trying to decide where I want mine and whether I need a 50 or 150cm cable. Pics appreciated

Well, here's where I ended up putting mine. Fit well and I like how it looks halfway stock. This Stage6 unit is kind of a piece of junk though...the lever is plastic and it's geometry coupled with the very firm spring in the mechanism make it tricky to flip up. I dont expect the lever to last very long.

Without knowing exactly what you got there, a possible suggestion would be to:
Some of those have a sort of cam shape built in to the base with a flat where you can set it to stay, till you shut it off. Some have multiple flats so you can set it at multiple positions for various levels of "choke"
If your lifting of the lever end to pry the lever into place, your likely right that a weak piece may snap Try lifting the lever at the base while flipping it to pull the cable as much as prying it
